👉 Elementor vs Gutenberg ✅ Best WordPress Page Builder?

Hello everyone Carson here and today’s I’m going to be reviewing and telling you the difference between Gutenberg and Elementor. Now in case you’re unfamiliar both of these are parts or systems to a WordPress website to the WordPress CMS. Gutenberg is a built in plugin, it comes pre installed with every installation of WordPress and Elementor, on the other hand is a plugin which you can get on top of WordPress, they offer a free version and they also offer a premium version No, because of the differences between these two software’s between these two programs, I am going to go ahead and explain them today and kind of help you out and help you understand which ones work better for you. Now, if you haven’t gotten a WordPress website yet, but you are looking to host one up, you are going to need some hosting software. And I actually have a link to hosting software in the description with a discount. And now let me go ahead and get into the explanation. Now over the years WordPress page builders have been exploding in popularity. You see page builders basically just make it easier to format your WordPress website. But through a graphical user interface or G UI. Now arguably the most popular page builder out there is Elementor. But recently, WordPress did release their own page builder called Gutenberg and I am going to essentially be explaining the difference and which ones will work for you in which situations now Gutenberg was released around 2018. And it’s essentially a block builder for WordPress, which means you have different blocks different little sections of your website, which you can kind of drag and drop and use to format a page. It’s the default WordPress editing software. And it comes with every pre installed version of WordPress. Elementor, on the other hand, is the most popular WordPress page builder out there. It essentially helps you alter your website’s look completely with a high level of flexibility and drag and drop features. Now let’s go ahead and look at the ease of use difference between Gutenberg and Elementor. Overall, I would say Gutenberg is easier to use, because it’s already inbuilt with every installation of WordPress. So if you do know how to use WordPress, odds are you can use Gutenberg with relative ease. Elementor, on the other hand, is an entirely new g UI. And it’s essentially a whole different website builder, which you need to learn it does come with more elements, which are elementary versions of blocks. And Gutenberg does come with blocks, though Gutenberg has already gotten some plugins which let you expand the amount of blocks they offer. So between the two, it’s really a toss up. But if I’m just going for ease of use, I would go with Gutenberg because I think overall, people are going to be more familiar with that system than Elementor. Now another benefit to Gutenberg is that it’s super simple to use easy and super lightweight, which means it’s not going to be bogging down your website as opposed to Elementor in some cases. It is worth mentioning though, that Elementor does have a theme builder with a bunch of presets and a template library so you can build your website super fast and super easy overall. And just to recap, just to kind of conclude the differences between them and tell you which one you need to focus on with your new installation of WordPress. If you are looking for a super easy one starting point, Gutenberg is definitely the one for you. I would recommend that for pretty much anyone who starts out on WordPress, you’re not going to need anything else. Well thanks for watching.
